Moving

Moving is a drama that follows a group of high school students (Hui-soo, Bong-seok and  Gang-Hoon) with inherited superpowers. Their parents, once part of a secret government program, try to protect them from dangerous enemies. As the students discover their abilities, they must confront their pasts and face new threats. The show blends action, mystery, and emotional family dynamics, exploring themes of identity, loyalty, and sacrifice.

My opinion:

When I tell you that I haven't watched a K-Drama like this in months, I'm 100% honest. It had 20 episodes, and I finished it in a week, even though I was "busy." I finished it three days ago, and I wish I could watch it again for the first time. I was a bit skeptical at first because it is a fictional K-Drama, which isn't really my favorite genre, but it was really, really good. What makes this K-Drama interesting is seeing how everyone is connected. You never knew who to trust and who not to trust.

As I mentioned in the summary, the main characters all had parents, and they also had superpowers. From episodes 8 to 14, they show the stories of the parents and also Bong-seok's dad, whom he had never met. I was a bit annoyed at how many episodes were dedicated to their stories, BUT it was crazy good and not slow at all. The stories were very detailed, and those little details were amazing.

Jang Ju-won was my favorite character. He was so funny and did everything to protect his daughter, Hui-soo. His past made me really, really sad to see. You will also see the love story of Hui-soo's parents. I was a bit shocked to see the job of Hui-soo's mother, but Ju-won accepted it and knew that she had a reason.

Oh my God, there was this man called Jo Rae-hyeok. He had hair sticking out of his ears, and it nearly made me gag every time I saw him. I was so annoyed when watching his scenes. Definitely one of the worst characters.

My favorite scenes were the ones with Hui-soo and Bong-seok. Their chemistry was so cute. The way Bong-seok was nervous was adorable. Also in one of the last episodes, there was a fight between a villian and and the 2 students. I loved how he protected Hui-soo, but also Hui-soo standing up for him.

The ending was really satisfying and the school scene was incredible. I'm gonna be honest, the fighting between Ju-won and Yeong Deuk made me a bit angry after a while. They kept punching each other, but none of them passed out. I just wanted to skip that part, hahahaha.

If I had to choose a superpower, it would be Bong-seok's power, which is flying. Which one would you choose?

Do I recommend this drama:

YES YES YES. Even if you're also skeptical about fictional K-Drama's you should give it a try. It is perfect if you don't like slow burn K-Drama's.

Available on: Disney +, 20 episodes
