Duty After School

Duty after school is about a group of high school students who suddenly find themselves fighting aliens when mysterious spheres start invading Earth. To help the military, the students are forced to train and join the fight, balancing their usual school life with surviving battles. Along the way, their friendships grow stronger, they learn to trust each other, and everyone goes through some serious character growth.

My opinion:

I literally loved this drama. The main reason is because it shows how they all had a character development and how their friendship grew over time. They started trusting each other, because there was no one else they could rely on. The main friendship I liked the most was Bo-ra's and Ae-seol's friendship. Not only Bo-ra, but seeing the whole group bonding with Ae-seol, especially in season 2, was heartwarming. I could see a bit of myself in her, so I liked that a lot.

There wasn't just friendship in the drama, but also romance. It also wasn't too romantic, which is good, because they literally are fighting monsters so is perfectly done. I really liked Yoo-jeong and Tae-man. They were funny.

My favorite scene is this K-drama is when they all made up and ate together after the argument they had. And lastly, if I could change anything in the drama it would be the ending, no spoilers, but it was so unnecessary. But ig that's reality.

Do I recommend?

Yes, yes, yes. It's so underrated. Seeing their friendship grow will heal you.
